After giving it some thought, I've begun to consider changing the forum name to something that doesn't use the word "otaku" because of the aversion that some fans have to anything mentioning this word. Just wondering what you guys would think of this change. The new name would probably be "Anime Worldwide" or something along those lines.
Pros:
- Would most likely increase forum sign-ups
- Wouldn't be too hard since OW is still relatively new.
Cons:
- Might lose some old members if they don't sign in after the two week re-direct
- Costs $10
- Would have to change a few thread titles, banners, etc.
Either way, it would be best to come to a decision soon, before we get more members & things become complicated!
