I hate anyone who can't be humble and own up to his/her mistakes and people that act as if they know everything, particularly if it's obvious that they aren't as smart as they think they are.

Nothing irks me more than someone who, as I like to put it, toots their own horn when their horn shouldn't even be tooted in the first place (figure of speech, for those of you whose first language isn't English)
