typicalmangafan In response to your suggestion, many forums do Forum Games like Guys vs Girls, but I've never heard of one doing prizes because the thread doesn't really further discussion of the forum's focus (in this case, anime & manga)

Forum games will never count for prizes, but Forum Contests in the Your Creations section will. In the future, I'm planning to do some smaller-scale competitions (like the manga fill-in contest Susano suggested) for profile trophy badges. Nothing super iimpressive, but at least you'll have bragging rights.

It's also really impractical to give a prize because it's based on a mass effort that you can't measure and prizes are best suited for actual contests with a single person (two people at most).
