Double think was a word made by George Orwell. In his book 1984 there was a principle that goes something like this: "Bad double thinker sees how awesome the big Brother is and still looks for the bad things that happen. Good double thinker sees some bad things but rightfully chooses to ignore them in light of otherwise so great nation."
Basically, double thinking is a way to ignore bad sides about something while aknowledging them.

To dislike something but at the same time have a soft spot in heart for that something.
That's basically how I work. If I were to only think singularly, my videos would be either A) Super fanboy praise or B) just dissing everything by strictly comparing to reality.
