Hey everyone, today I am here with AFW first ever GFX Contest! Judges:Everything will be done by poll. Rules:-All entries must be sent to me by PM -No changing your entry after you send it to me. -No consultation before you send the finished product in. -No disrespecting other competitors. -The size limit: None, but remember, not huge. Try keep it simple. Competitors:1. Karma Deadline: One Week before entries close!
I wish you all good luck! If you have any questions, post them below and I will try reply in the quickest time I can. Remember, if you know anyone who is interested in GFX, why not invite them over to take part?! Good day~  |

The prize is THE GLORY OF WINNING! I mean, it's just one of those fun things to do to show off your skillz  (I don't have any, but my PS CC Free Trial expires in 4 days, so I might as well get the most out of it) I've been thinking about adding trophy badges for things like this... |

I actually kind of feel this contest is kind of like a scouting mission for the peoples running this forum, and you're looking for someone to do graphics for the site. As a result there could be some sort of distinguishing characteristic given to the winner. If that's not the case, and it's just a random contest. Then I don't believe there is any possible reward that can be given in this case. I think a reward is important to give something to work towards, it helps boost motivation, no matter what it is. |

Scouting mission? No... Ken just PM'd me & asked if he could do the contest.
On other forums I've been on, people do these things all the time for fun. It's really just a chance to show off your work & perhaps get critique from others. I was thinking about doing a writing contest in the near future.
