Just the other week Toho announced the next Japanese produced Godzilla film will be released in 2016, the first one in twelve years. Since I didn't like the recent Legendary version, this is great news.

That's disappointing to hear, especially you calling G98 a good Godzilla movie. What has the world come to?

Though to be honest, most of the films since the 1990s haven't been the best. The one standout is Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack. A couple others have been alright.
