Hi everyone. I am working on a new layout for this forum. Currently, I am using a pre-made theme called "simply chic" and changing some of its colours in the CSS to better match the AFW forum. As a result, it is very prone to errors. It's a pretty easy as far as editing goes, though I would really appreciate if you guys could report any bugs, inconsistencies and tell me things you don't like about it. It will really help speed up the process! I will keep a little log book on this thread, so I can keep track of my progress. Cheers! As I've mentioned to @arkan already, I'm a big fan of the cleaner theme and I like what he's done to fix it up so far. I'll probably switch our default theme from Black Ominous to this one, once it's done  |

Nice theme. Too bad I can't view it in all of it's glory on this mobile browser Yeah, sorry. There are a lot of floating containers and stuff. I think mobile browsers put them all together so they tend to look squished. Are you still able to read threads? |

Okay, after viewing the theme on a desktop browser it looks good. I'd recommend rounding the corners to make the them more modern looking (like a radius of 4. Nothing too dramatic), if not that then a border on the headers and containers. Not sure about those borders when you hover the mouse over the "Statistics" columns... Perhaps a different color?

Unfortunately, it messes up the CSS quite badly the moment I try to round the corners (or i'm just really terrible at this  ) so I had to stick to the sharp modern look. I did, however follow your advice on the headers and it looks way better now. Thanks for the feedback! The new forums should be up soon once I get the OK from Ne-on. |
