Cheesy name aside, here's a basic run-down of AFW forum awards—how they work and how you can receive them.
Member Banners
These awards reflect a member's post rank, staff member, and/or developer status. As they are not updated automatically, we cannot guarantee that post rank banners will be distributed when a member has met the specified goal, therefore it is up to you to let us know that you have reached a post-related accomplishment.
- Given to AFW Forum Administrator
- Given to AFW Moderators
- GIven to new members (post count less than 50)
- Given to Forum Members (post count of 50-749)
- Given to Elite Members (post count of 750 or more)
- Given to Forum Supporters or Developers (members who volunteer their time to improve the quality of the forum)
Shuriken Awards
These awards are distributed to members who have met a goal or accomplishment, or demonstrated their knowledge on the forum. Shuriken are constantly being updated with new styles, so don't forget to check this thread periodically for ways to earn them.
- AFW Staff Member Award
- The Guardian Award. Given to members that look after others (this award is a prerequisite for AFW Staff)
- Knowledgeable Member Award. Given to members who have demonstrated their knowledge about anime/manga and/or AFW.
- Dedicated Member Award. Given to members who have contributed significantly to AFW (this award is a prerequisite for AFW Staff and Forum Leaders)
- Forum Contest Winner Award
- Donor Award. Given to members who have donated to the forum.
- Referral Award. Given to members who have referred 5 or more people to AFW.
- 1 Year Member Award. Given to members who have stayed active on the forum for over a year.
