The most fanservice-filled shows I love are Kill la Kill and Highschool DxD. I tried To Love Ru, but decided to postpone actually watching it. For me personally, I feel like echhi/fanservive-filled anime will make anime one day go out and never return (at least not for some time). I'm tired of endless ecchi shows. It personally just makes an anime feel unprofessional to me. I don't mind some echhi anime. I just don't like breasts in my face every 10 seconds. Highschool of the Dead, Triage X, Kill la Kill and many more actually are really annoying to me. Kill la Kill had a good plot, but the overkill of fanservive in the show made me think sometimes "Why the hell am I actually watching this show? " It ultimately put a damper on my overall judgment of the show. Just my take on echhi anime.

To Love-Ru has a lot of fanservice, but it's different imo from most of the ecchi out today. High School DxD season 1 was awesome. Oh & Sirius, I totally agree with your earlier post. It's like it's become a competition to see who can handle the most bloody and violent shows. As I've said before, I only like violence when there's a valid reason for it. I can't stand shows with a lot of gore simply for the sake of it. Oh and on the contrary, I think ecchi is only getting worse. I have a feeling that it won't be long before it reaches a point where I can't enjoy the modern anime industry at all anymore.

I'm not playing a game. I think I'm simply seeking for self-gratification with my no-drop policy. Kill la Kill was an experience that changed me as a person. In the beginning, I thuoght "This show has a lot of violence and nudity, but I like it. Then I thought "This show is FUN" and now I think "This show is sexy, violent and fun AND I love it!"
I think that out of the three seasons of HDxD tgat are out the second is the best.
But yeah, there is too much ecchi, considering that hentai is a thing that exists.

God Eater: A weird art style, horrendously cliche setup but maybe some potential. On the fence with this one.

God Eater: A weird art style, horrendously cliche setup but maybe some potential. On the fence with this one. Good to see that I'm not the only one who wasn't a fan of God Eater. The art style was actually the one thing that drew me into this anime, but it's plot is so cliché and overused, that I honestly can't see it impressing me and it's not worth my time to wait and see. Dropped after watching episode one.

I really get my fix when I get closer to my ultimate goal. ^^

God Eater recently got into my good side. It really shines with it's action, artwork and actually I even the scientific aspect. In the episode 3 there was a scene that simply blew my mind. If an anime can do that, it means that it has something important to give to me.
A great case on why not to judge based on the first look, I think. This opinion might change depending on how the show is handled from now on, but right now, these are my thoughts.

Hmmm...maybe I'll look into it once it's completed and see if it's worth giving another go Might I ask what it was about the scene that changed your perspective?
