To be honest, at times I enjoy watching regular American cartoons for "yuri" over actual yuri anime. There's just something exciting about finding hidden subtext for a pairing that few people know about or understand. My favorite girlxgirl pairing, hands down, will always be KiGo (KimxShego from Kim Possible), but others, such as Korrasami in Legend of Korra, TwiDash in MLP:FIM (don't judge me for this one), ElsaxAnna in Frozen, various RWBY ships, and even SamxEmber in Danny Phantom have captured my attention. I guess you could say that I have a thing for the "good girl" and the rebel dynamic.
Do you ship any female characters in cartoons?

I definitely ship Marceline and Princess Bubblegum from Adventure Time! I wouldn't mind if they had their own spin off show  |

I don't even watch the show much, but I ship them too  I'd say the most obscure cartoon yuri pairing I've ever shipped was SamxEmber from Danny Phantom. Ember was only in like 2 episodes, but those two were perfect for each other. |

I don't know that cartoon but I will believe you The MLP pairings are the weirdest for me but also the most interesting. There ist so much crazy fandom of MLP that I dont feel weird about shipping horses anymore |

imgur.com/xWg5JPRIT HAS HAPPENED!! This is the first time I've ever really heard of a basically canon lesbian couple in a children's cartoon. This makes me happy not only because I love the pairing, but also because I see it as the beginning of the breaking down of barriers that prevent the portrayal of same-sex couples in Western cartoons (not sure how else to word that awkward sentence). Hopefully we'll see more of this in the future now that LoK has nudged the subject out of the shadows a bit.
