One thread for two things!
My first anime and manga were both Sasameki Koto. As the time I remember thinking it was the best thing I'd ever seen because I'd never watched an anime series before in full, but having seen it again recently, I've had to come to terms with how disillusioned I was for the first 6 months that I watched anime, since SK really wasn't that great. Around the same time that I started reading Sasameki Koto, I also began to read Zettai Shoujo Seiiki Amnesian, which was one of the several alternate universe spin-offs of Kannazuki no Miko: another yuri & the second anime I watched.

My first Anime was the original FMA. I loved watching that show! I got addicted to it that I stayed up from 10PM-7.00AM watching it. I was only 10 at the time... I think that's what they call the power of youth. XD I still think it's a good show with a good storyline. I hate it when people say it sucks compared to FMAB. It's not true... My first Manga was Kuroko no Basuke back in 2012. I was browsing random Manga sites and found Kuroko no Basuke and started reading. I think the reason I did is because his hair was blue, haha. I was also debating doing Kiseijuu at the time, but wasn't that fond of alien horror. I still love Kuroko no Basuke and can't wait for the reboot Manga.

This is probably the least interesting answer but like most children who watched television in the 90's, Dragon Ball Z. As for manga I think it was Lucky Star.

I can't remember my first anime, but I do remember my first three. They were Dragon Ball Z, Gundam Wing, and Ronin Warriors. There's also the possibility that my first anime, though it wasn't a series, was actually Kiki's Delivery Service, based on how long I've had it. Unfortunately, I can't really give a positive answer on that either. My memory being hazy due to my early age goes to show how early in life I was exposed to anime.
