I went to my sister's school and talked. I arranged, so that next month, I will hold a lecture, 20 minutes at a time, for three hours, to different classes in grade six, about how school life is with diagnosis such as Asperger's and so on. Since I have first hand experience.
I was told that since I left the school, me and my friends set such a good example at helping people, the atmosphere has gone cold and people aren't as open. I want to change that.
Tell me, what do you think of this? What do you want to change, if you could, and tell me about a good deed you've done c:

When I see this thread, two things come to mind: "Be the change you wish to see in the world" and But yeah. Hmmm... things I would like to change/good deeds I've done. I think just being considerate of others and the world around you is a big one. I would like to see my generation be a little more respectful. Things like holding the door open for someone a distance away, picking trash up off the ground, thanking waiters, store employees, etc. for their help aren't done enough, so I try to do them as much as I can. I can have trouble being touchy-feely with people irl because I don't want them to get the wrong impression, but when it seems like someone's upset or having a bad day, I usually ask them if they're okay & let them know that I'm here if they want to talk and I hope things get better. Sometimes I'll be depressed af and no one even notices, so I feel like it's important to let people know that someone out there cares about them and supports them. I guess I'd just like to see more kindness and thoughtfulness in the world and this can only be spread through doing good deeds yourself
