I've noticed that a lot of people on this forum like shrimp, and a shrimp club was actually called for, so I decided to (half-jokingly) start The Shrimp Club (with an emphasis on shrimp). Here, we will discuss what we love about seafood and particularly shrimp and talk about/post pics of some of our favorite dishes. Personally, I love the way shrimp tastes. The flavor is just so unique and the different dishes that can made from it is just so amazing. Dim sum dishes, as I mentioned before, are some of my big favorite, and there is also a type of technique that cooks shrimp after its been mashed and wrapped around a piece of sugar cane (Picture below). What are some of the reasons why you shrimp-lovers like shrimp and what are some of your favorite dishes? This isn't a club for Skype meetups or stuff like that (there's really no point in doing so), it's just going to be thread-only. Also, feel free to post pics of anime seafood too. As much as I like shrimp, I feel like this club would better serve as a general seafood club...but I guess you can include me anyway  I usually just eat my shrimp plain with cocktail sauce or in the seafood soup my family makes. As a native New Englander, seafood has always been a part of family gatherings, so I guess my exposure to it is the reason why I like most seafood today. |

I can't believe you guys were serious in making this club...lol. Well, why not? There's a shorts and a moe club, so I was thinking that shrimp club wasn't too far off. Plus, I made the club half-jokingly since there isn't really much to lose in doing so. |

Why the heck did the person who started that club tell me that it was for panties when I asked him? I guess he was just joking but never bothered to mention that he wasn't actually serious. Regardless, I remember you stated that any club that wasn't controversial is fine, so I felt that a club like one should be fine (it's not supposed to be taken seriously tbh). |

typicalmangafan That was Rome who was talking about the panties haha The shorts club is @sevenpocky's So since this is now a seafood club, what's everyone's favorite kind of clam chowder? I'm more of a Rhode Island clam chowder kind of guy, but Manhattan clam chowder is great too. New England clam chowder is just overrated in my opinion.
