MEZZO DSA was an unpopular anime I've seen and enjoyed the heck out of. One of those gunslinger-shoot-em-up-type anime. You don't really have to watch the Hentai OVA (MEZZO FORTE) first to enjoy it or know what's going on, since it's episodic for the most part.
It's great if you've enjoyed series like Trigun or Cowboy Bebop.

It's great if you've enjoyed series like Trigun or Cowboy Bebop. I still have to watch DSA... the OVA really was pretty great, but I just have too much on my plate. Guns make any anime worth watching. |

It probably isn't unpopular, however,I'm fairly certain it's obscure. Now and Then, Here and There. A short and borderline depressing story. Recommended.

Attack on Titan/Shingeki no Kyojin. {Spoiler}It'd probably be Akagi. Most people are not that fond of the art style. I personally look at the story more . Akagi is a really decent anime IMO. |
