Has anyone played/watched Five Nights at Freddy's? It's sooo scary because the game relies mostly on jump-scares and makes you really paranoid. Here's all the info about it on Wikipedia. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_Nights_at_Freddy's You're basically sitting in a security room at a demented Chuckie E Cheese-like restaurant where you have to watch out for animatronics that come to life at night and try to basically kill you. Using the cameras and the doors, which protect you as a last resort, take up energy. You need to conserve energy for six hours (12-6AM) to beat the level, otherwise you lose. The game was a success and there a sequel already out for purchase. It's a great game that if you don't want to play, then you can watch it on YouTube and see other gamers play it. I recommend Markiplier as he's already beaten both the original game and the sequel. He even beat Five Nights at Freddy's at max settings, which allegedly the creator couldn't even do. Check it out; it'll definitely surprise you (in more ways than one).

I played the game, and I don't know why my friends were scared with the game, it wasn't scary at all. (Maybe I'm abnormal XD) But, I can't finish the game somehow, managed to survive until day 3. :/ Yeah, it's quite fun but not scary for me.

Im gonna laugh if its the scariest game of the year , i find P.T silenthill demo more creepier than this over hyped game. Its not the kind of game id play but i do enjoy watching people play it I think practically anything can get overhyped once it gains enough popularity. What I find creepy about the FNAF is that the character is stuck in one place and can't move at all, so it gives a feeling of powerlessness. Then there's the fact that the player knows that the animatronics are coming, just not when, which can give off a feeling of paranoia. Often times, I expect an animatronic to come only for them to not be there, then I breath a sigh of relief only for them to pop out with that screech literally seconds later. It's a game that focuses on jump scares. The game does get repetitive when you master it but for the people are new at it, they don't really know what to expect. Other people noted that the area resembling a Chucky E Cheese makes it somewhat creepier for them, thought I don't think it's by too much. Also, if jump scares aren't your thing, then the game isn't really for you. This game basically chose a certain aspect of horror that terrifies people and stuck with it. Horror can be utilized in different ways so obviously it often comes down to taste. I know people who can watch Silence of the Lambs without even blinking, and that is supposedly a very scary movie for most people. I think what's really great about this game is that it's very simple in design, yet manages to exceed its boundaries despite its simplicity. I can see why some people don't find it scary, but ultimately, I think it's a quality game even if the jump scares don't get you.

I've played a bit of both games. Had a tougher time in 1 than 2, really. In 2 I was able to get to Night 3 without dying and, once I learned how to cope with Old Bonnie I was able to get through just fine.
I think it's the tension that gets you. Game's good at cranking up the tension and, as a result, making the Jump Scare a little more effective.

Hm, I watch Markiplier's playthrough of both the games. I think it ought to be taxing and very contrating demanding! If I had a spine, I'd definately play it
